The genesis of Incipite

A proof-of-prior-existence tool is only as good as its ability to prove its own existence. Incipite certified its own source code on its official launch day.

Incipite was born from a simple conviction: every creator should be able to prove that an idea is theirs, without depending on a notary, an institution, or a platform that could shut down overnight.

The answer lies in cryptography and the Bitcoin blockchain — two technologies whose robustness has been proven for over fifteen years. OpenTimestamps allows any digital fingerprint to be anchored in a Bitcoin block, making it verifiable by anyone, forever, without a central server.

On 3 June 2026, Incipite officially launched its V1. That day, the complete source code was archived and submitted to its own certification system — immutable proof that this project existed on that date, exactly as it was, anchored on the Bitcoin blockchain.
